6th US Army Unit Crest insignia pin "Born of War". Authorized in Sept 1968 the 6th Army was recognized for the two plus years of combat service in the Pacific Theater during WW2. The 6-sided star is in gold with red ribbon and blue stars surrounding the large white star in the center. "Born of War in red on the gold ribbon on the bottom. The pin measures 1 1/8" X 1 1/4"
