Army 177th Armored Brigade Patch, unit was originally constituted as an Infantry Brigade, on Aug 5, 1917, and assigned to 89th Division earning credit for participation in three WW1 Campaigns. The unit was than disbanded in 1953. Then on Oct 16,1991 reconstituted as the 177th Armored Brigade but was inactivated in 1994 only to be activated again in 1997 as a training support brigade. New patch has embroidered front and reinforced backing for added strength when sewing on the uniform shoulder, measures 2" X 3".
