The Soft-Shell Cold Weather Jacket was designed to be lightweight but yet withstand mean monthly temperatures of plus 14 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 10 degrees Celsius) to plus 68 degrees Fahrenheit (plus 20 degrees Celsius). The Soft-Shell Cold Weather Jackets Operational Camouflage is also part of the ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather System). The Soft-Shell jacket is equipped with the hook and loop across both front right/ left top hidden breathable pockets for your name and branch. The jacket also features, the right/ left full hook and loop flap pockets on the shoulder sleeves, zippered front with hook and loop rank in center of chest, also the zipper under both arms for extra breathability during moments of being under pressure. The ECWCS Soft Shell jacket is in the new OCP color has a hidden rolled hood with an elastic cord for adjustability, easily accessible by the hook and loop. The waist has an elastic cord one on either side as well as the wrists have elastic and hook and loop closure for comfort and to keep that cold out and stay warm on the inside. The jacket is stretchable and works well with ECWCS layered system also water resistant for short bursts of rain, not made to wear for long periods in rain or submerged. The jacket is made by Tennier Industries, Inc. This jacket has very little wear if any, but it does have in last picture little white paint spots.
