US Army 7th Infantry Division Hat is black in color with hat patch attached to hat with the 7th Infantry Division Hourglass in front in red and black and vibrant insignia in yellow. The 7th Infantry Division was originally activated in December of 1917 during WW1 initially serving in France. In WW2 was nicknamed the Bayonet Division fought in the Pacific Theater and in various other operations then reactivating in 1999 and modern roles such as the integrating of ground maneuvers with cyber, space, electronic warfare and long-range fires. In 1918 due to the hourglass shape of the patch the nickname was "Hourglass" Division. The Division has 17 Medal of Honor Recipients and 15 campaign participation credits. The hat has 6 panels, 6 vented holes for breathability and the hook and loop adjustable backing.
